Youth Arts Worker Opportunities – Be Part of What We’re Building This Summer 2026

You’ll play a vital role in delivering Zest’s summer programme, including The Zone and something new we’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Alongside The Zone, our large-scale pop-up youth space in city centres, you’ll also be part of Zone Go, a more agile, mobile version designed to reach different communities and locations. It’s a key part of what we’re building next, and this summer is the first time it will be out in the world.

Together, these projects transform everyday places into welcoming environments where young people can connect, create, and be themselves.

These are free, drop-in environments for young people aged 11–18. Your role is to help make the space feel like somewhere they belong.

We’re looking for artists and facilitators with strong people skills and a genuine passion for working with young people. You’ll be confident bringing your practice into an open, fast-moving environment and able to respond to whatever the day brings.

We welcome applicants working across theatre, music, visual arts, dance, performance, and beyond. We’re open to different approaches and experiences, and we’re keen to hear from both emerging and established practitioners.

This is flexible bank work, with shifts available between 18 July and 29 August 2026. Delivery is mainly based in Lincoln, with some travel required. We particularly encourage applications from those based in or connected to the Lincolnshire region. This opportunity is open to those aged 18+.

If you're passionate about the arts and creativity and eager to make a difference in the lives of young people, we want to hear from you! Join the Zest team and help us create unforgettable experiences for young people in The Zone this summer!
